This is where it all began at MaXfield — our original core capability. Since then we have built literally thousands of custom-manufactured pressure vessels that are in service across western Canada in the five industries we serve.

Our expertise in designing, engineering, fabricating and inspecting/repairing pressure vessels goes back well beyond our company’s founding. MaXfield’s senior managers have worked in this field for decades, and our roots in pressure vessel manufacturing go back nearly half a century. Few competitors have this kind of depth — and it shows in MaXfield’s high-quality workmanship and quick turnarounds.

Today we build vessels of all shapes and sizes, all the way up to
120,000 gallons, in mild, high-tensile and stainless steel, depending on the application and whether it’s for stationary or mobile (trailer-mounted) service. To mount your new vessels, we can build the required skid or trailer as well. And we can also design and manufacture any needed pipe spooling, then package the vessel up with other equipment to create a module or complete system.

We have a long track record of reliability. Our main Crossfield, Alberta fabrication centre inventories the steel plate types used in our standard vessels. That allows us to achieve short lead times, because we know that for our customers, lost time equals lost revenue. It’s all part of getting it done right the first time.
